Scoglitti, giovane turista salva due anziani che stavano annegando

A 16-year-old boy managed to prevent a tragedy when a couple in their old age was about to drown. The young boy from Reggio Calabria was on vacation with his family in Scoglitti, in the Ragusa area, when he noticed the elderly couple struggling in the water. The wife was unable to resurface, and the husband was attempting to reach her but without success.

At that point, the boy dived in and reached the woman first, allowing her to catch her breath. Slowly, he also helped the husband reach the shore. Both of them are safe and, amidst applause from other beachgoers, they expressed their gratitude towards the young tourist who, without a second thought, swam to their rescue.
