San Vito Lo Capo, like the Egadi Islands: walking in swimsuits or shirtless prohibited
#Trapani
San Vito Lo Capo, a town in Italy, has banned walking around shirtless and in swimwear in an effort to maintain public decency. The new ordinance, implemented by the mayor Francesco La Sala, applies to all areas of the town, including the historical center, museums, churches, cemetery, and food and drink establishments. Those who violate the ban will face fines ranging from 25 to 150 euros. The decision comes as a response to complaints from citizens about the lack of decorum in certain streets of San Vito. The ban will be in effect from July 1st to November 2nd.
