After the closure of the abusive nursing homes in Siracusa, Avola, Carlentini, and Melilli, the inspections by the carabinieri continue at the hospitality facilities for the elderly and vulnerable. The NAS military personnel from Ragusa reported a nursing home in Rosolini for arbitrarily exceeding the maximum capacity. The mayor has ordered the suspension of its operation, and the owner of the facility has also been fined €1,032 in administrative penalties.
