The Municipality of Rometta, in the province of Messina, has announced a competition for experienced operators. It is a public selection for the hiring of 2 maintenance technical assistants with an indefinite contract. The application can be submitted by March 8th.

The requirements
Candidates must have the following requirements: Italian citizenship or citizenship of one of the member states of the European Union; not less than 18 years of age; enjoyment of civil and political rights; psycho-physical suitability for employment; no criminal convictions or ongoing criminal proceedings that prevent employment in public positions; not being disqualified or subject to measures that by law exclude access to employment in Public Administrations; not having been dismissed or released from employment in a Public Administration following a disciplinary procedure for poor performance or for obtaining employment by producing false documents or by fraudulent means, according to the contractual provisions in force for each collective bargaining agreement; not having received a declaration of forfeiture for having obtained the appointment or employment by producing false or void documents; being in compliance with the military service obligation; absence of any impediments to access as prescribed by law for the establishment of the employment relationship.
Specific requirements
Candidates must also have some specific requirements: a certificate of attendance of the compulsory school period (lower secondary school diploma) and professional work experience related to the required duties for the advertised position, gained over a period of at least 18 months with public or private employers; a valid type B driving license.
The tests
If the number of applications received exceeds 100, the examination will be preceded by a pre-selection. Candidates will undergo two tests, a practical test and an oral one.
How to submit the application
The application to participate in the competition for workers announced by the Municipality of Rometta must be submitted by March 8, 2024, through the inPA recruitment portal.
