Robbery in Campobello di Licata: throat cutter and 9,000 euros in loot

Double robbery in Campobello di Licata, in the province of Agrigento. Two men with their faces covered by surgical masks and sunglasses entered the warehouse of a furniture store, just as a supply was being delivered. The criminals hit the neck of the owner of the company, a 38-year-old trader, with a frill cutter, forcing him to hand over the cash that was intended for the cargo carrier.

Not happy with the 3,000 euros that had just been stolen, the two criminals blocked and threatened the courier, a 58-year-old man from Bari, with the cutter, demanding that all the deliveries made before going to via Marturano be handed over to him, which he kept in a purse. , another 6000 euros.

With 9,000 euros in their pockets, the thieves fled on foot, probably expected by a third accomplice. On the robbery, which is being investigated by the Carabinieri of the Campobello di Mazara Company, a file has been opened by the Agrigento Public Prosecutor’s Office.
