Returns to Salina from Australia and dies suddenly from a heart attack

A Eolian-Australian, originally from Filicudi, returned to his home island but tragically passed away. It happened in Salina, when S.B., 68 years old, collapsed while walking with his family in the seaside village of Lingua. His family and some locals tried to resuscitate him, and even the emergency personnel who promptly arrived were unable to do anything but confirm his death, probably due to a heart attack. The death of the man from Filicudi has caused deep sadness in the Aeolian Islands, especially in his hometown.
