Research: nanotechnologies against water shortages and waste, the MicroWatTS project is starting: a revolution in the treatment of gray water


CATANIA – Sicily and Malta, the most important Mediterranean islands together in a research project that will develop a gray water treatment system by exploiting nanotechnologies and sunlight, acquiring a partnership of excellence: the University of Malta, an institution leader, the National Research Council (CNR) of Catania, MCAST, the University of Catania and two SMEs Econetique and Plastica Alfa, with experience in micro- and nanosystems and innovative polymer products for water treatment.
