Renzi: “Yes to the Bridge over the Strait, but infrastructure is also needed”

Renzi mentioned that he had signed a 9 billion euro agreement for Sicily’s infrastructure investments 8 years ago, but the money has not been spent. Renzi emphasized the need to invest in both the bridge over the Strait of Messina and public works. He criticized Salvini for using the bridge issue for political gain, noting that Salvini has only talked about starting construction on Twitter but no progress has been made. Renzi concluded by saying that Salvini’s promises are just empty words for those waiting for the bridge to be built.
