The Schifani government will allocate 12 million euros to employees of the Sicilian Region as an advance on their contractual increases. Regional Economy Minister Marco Falcone announced this, stating that they are following what the Meloni government did by advancing increases for state employees. This measure is expected to be approved in early November and involves interventions worth around 300 million euros. The resources will increase the salaries of regional employees, anticipating the outcomes of ongoing negotiations with labor unions.
