Recovery of the villages, Salemi wins the announcement of the Sicily Foundation
The feasibility study for the redevelopment and enhancement of a part of the historic center of Salemi, in the province of Trapani, has been funded. The Architecture and Design Department of the Polytechnic of Turin (Dad), which has a collaboration agreement in place with the Municipality of Salemi, has in fact been awarded the 2019 edition of the tender promoted by the Sicily Foundation 'Feasibility studies for the recovery of abandoned villages' with the candidacy of the project 'Rehabilitate Alicia – Feasibility study for the redevelopment of the ancient city of Salemi', presented by the architects and teachers Paolo Mellano and Roberto Dini. The Foundation itself gave the news with a note on its website.
The financing of about one hundred thousand euros will be used for the preparation of a feasibility study for the redevelopment and enhancement of the architectural heritage of the historic center of the Trapani town, already included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy …
