Pregnant woman evacuated from NGO ship at sea and taken to Lampedusa clinic (66 characters)

A pregnant Nigerian woman in critical condition was evacuated from the NGO ship Sea Eye 4 during the night near Lampedusa. The woman was transferred to a Coast Guard boat and then taken to a medical center. Sea Eye 4 had requested urgent medical evacuation multiple times, but Italy directed them to the Libyan Maritime Emergency Control Center and the Italian telemedicine service. Two other individuals fell into the water during the rescue operation. Italian authorities instructed Sea Eye 4 to proceed to the port of Vibo Valentia after the medical evacuation.
