Pollution, 4 million from the government-region program agreement

Four million euros to promote initiatives that can counter pollution from urban traffic in the cities of Palermo, Catania, Messina and Syracuse. This is what the program agreement for the adoption of measures for the improvement of air quality in Sicily envisages, which will be signed tomorrow 11 November, at 10 am at the PalaRegione of Catania, by the governor Nello Musumeci and by the Minister of the Environment Sergio Costa. Also present will be Toto Cordaro, regional councilor for the territory and the environment, whose offices have developed a sustainable "home-work / school" mobility program for employees of all the public administrations of the island and which will encourage the use of electric or hybrid vehicles.
