The Enna police, as part of their control services for the prevention and contrast of mafia crime, carried out integrated multi-level interventions in the municipalities of Gagliano Castelferrato, Cerami, and Agira, in the province of Enna, through specific operational coordination modules among the police forces.
The police, carabinieri, and finance guard crews involved in these services aimed to consolidate the presence of institutions in the territory with the intention of contributing to restoring a profound sense of respect for legality to the community.
Checks were carried out on 136 vehicles and 222 people, resulting in 5 fines for violations of the highway code. Additionally, 7 individuals subject to judicial measures and one commercial exercise were inspected. The Pas division personnel of the police headquarters conducted 2 inspections at bars/pubs in the municipalities concerned, identifying 3 individuals.
