PALERMO – The story of a show that is about to turn twenty-three years old. The Mariposa, literary prize for musical text, born in September 1997, from an idea of ​​Salvo Pistoia, without the aid of the great institutional supports, has crossed the threshold of the double decade, traveling around the literary part of the Italian music of quality.

Awards, concerts, meetings that in this span of time have marked the presence of Lucio Dalla, Ligabue, Piero Pelù, Luca Carboni, Paola Turci, Nomadi, Mario Venuti, Max Gazzè, Luca Madonia, Niccolò Fabi, Daniele Silvestri.

For the second consecutive year, the event lives the "D’Autore" in synergy with Rai at the auditorium of the Palermo office.

Sunday 19 January at 18.00 showcase – concert with Karym Daidone, a young and talented pianist from Taormina, who will propose the set, "Passion and Harmonies – The echo of another beauty" between classical and contemporary.

The piece will have a scan with the "Readings on forgotten memories", narrated by the actress Paola Roccoli, assisted by the master Arturo Di Natale on the piano.
