After two years of pandemic, the Workshop in Applied Economics returns to Petralia Sottana.

There will be more than 50 economists, professors and researchers from all over the world who, together with their families, will populate the historic center of Petralia Sottana.
The Workshop is organized by an international Scientific Committee which involves prof.
Shanker Satyanath (New York University), Prof.
Maria Carreri (University of California San Diego), Prof.
Francesco Drago (University of Catania) and prof.
Decio Coviello (HEC Montreal Canada).
The 2022 edition, which will take place from 21 to 26 July at the former Convent of the Reformed Fathers, has a very intense program.
There are many economic issues that will be discussed: inequalities, monetary and international trade policies, the impact of migration, education, economic policies, labor markets, corruption, crime and the effect of elections, justice, the political system.

This year the Municipality of Petralia Sottana has organized a moment of knowledge open to all.
