Patera stages the stories of four great women at Palermo’s Theatre Atlante

Four women who have made their lives a work of art for a show, written and directed by Valeria Patera, which will be staged at the Teatro Atlante in Palermo on Saturday, December 2 at 9pm and Sunday, December 3 at 7pm. The show presents the stories of Rita Levi Montalcini, Ada Lovelace, Johanna van Gogh, and Ynès Mexia, who are all models of research, study, and success in the face of the current anger and unease regarding the female universe. The show highlights their achievements and contributions, from Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi Montalcini’s work on promoting education for women in developing countries, to Ada Lovelace’s pioneering work in computer science, Johanna van Gogh-Bonger’s efforts to promote Vincent Van Gogh’s artwork, and Ynès Mexia’s groundbreaking botanical research in South America.
