Partanna, meeting in Palermo on the problems of the Ati Idrico

As announced a few days ago, a meeting was held today in Palermo between the mayors of the 17 Municipalities of Ati Idrico Trapani, ex Eas, following a formal request sent by the mayor of Partanna, Nicola Catania, on behalf of the other colleagues, and regional leaders, to discuss water problems and the serious hardship that citizens are experiencing in the face of the right to drinking water, an essential asset. Today in the Regional Councilorship were present the Councilor for Energy and public utility services, Daniela Baglieri, the Head of Cabinet, the General Manager, Calogero Foti and the Director of the Service, Marcello Loria.

“In the presence of the Regional Councilor – says the mayor of Partanna, Nicola Catania – and the regional officials, we have once again exposed and analyzed the serious shortcomings that, in particular, in this summer period are gripping our communities. The Assessor made himself available to find immediate solutions, and on the basis of an opinion from the legal legislative office, a solution was reached that can temporarily identify a single manager to deal with both the emergency and the normal management of the service in more than the approval of the provincial plan by the ATI “

Representing all 17 municipalities of the former Eas concerned were the mayors, or their delegates, and the president of ATI, Nicola Rizzo, mayor of Castellammare del Golfo.

These are the Municipalities that are part of the Trapani territorial assembly: Buseto Palizzolo, Castellammare del Golfo, Custonaci, Erice, Gibellina, Egadi Islands, Municipality of Castelvetrano fraction of Marinella di Selinunte, Paceco. Partanna, Poggioreale, Salaparuta, Salemi, Santa Ninfa, San Vito Lo Capo, Valderice, Vita and the Asi networks of Trapani.
