Palermo’s Villa Sofia operating block to undergo modernization.

The operating rooms of the emergency pavilion at Villa Sofia Hospital will be modernized with an investment of 236,792 euros. The aim is to deliver new spaces to the community that meet the highest quality and safety standards. The project includes 5 operating rooms, a patient preparation area, and a recovery room, which will allow for post-operative care and faster sanitization and room changes for subsequent surgeries. The project also aims to improve the technological and logistical standards of care and to achieve energy savings. This is considered a significant milestone.
