Palermo’s Saric deal with Antalyaspor falls through, Verdi’s signing remains uncertain

Dario Saric will be a new player for Antalyaspor, a team in the Turkish league. He is leaving Palermo after just one year, as the club decided to sell him after two official matches. His wife’s Instagram story confirmed his move to Turkey. The agreement between the two clubs is a loan deal with a buy-option based on certain conditions. Saric had 30 appearances for Palermo last season, but only started in 18 and came off the bench in 10. His departure opens up a spot in the squad, allowing Palermo to make another signing. They are targeting Dimitri Bisoli from Brescia, but negotiations have not started yet. Bisoli wants to see what will happen with the club’s future before making a decision. Emanuel Vignato and Mattia Aramu are also being considered as potential signings, but both are difficult deals. Vignato is wanted by several Serie A and B clubs and may not want to drop down a division after his less successful stints with Bologna and Empoli. Aramu is no longer part of Genoa’s plans and would accept a move to Palermo, but faces competition from other clubs. The possibility of signing Verdi has completely faded, as he has reached an agreement with Como and is set to undergo medical tests.
