The Mondello Palace Hotel, previously closed, has been acquired by the multinational company Accor, which already has the Mercure Palermo Centro hotel in Palermo. The hotel is undergoing major renovations to give it a new, modern and attractive look both inside and outside. The focus of the refurbishment is on creating a beautiful garden that can also be used for hosting events. Additionally, the hotel will now have not just one, but two swimming pools – one exclusively for hotel guests, and the other open to the public. This new addition is not only for tourists but also for local residents who want to enjoy the pool as an alternative to the beach.
