Palermo’s injury to Soleri leads to cancellation of Catanzaro match
Palermo has lost Edoardo Soleri to injury. He got hurt in training the day before the trip to Terni and did not take part in the match against Breda’s team. The investigations he underwent showed “a first degree myofascial injury to the long adductor of the left thigh,” as reported on the club’s official website. The attacker has already started suitable physiotherapy and will certainly miss the match on Friday evening against Catanzaro. Palermo could recover Di Francesco, Insigne, and Ceccaroni for the match against the Calabrians, but their conditions will be monitored day by day. The team has resumed training at the Renzo Barbera stadium, working in two groups on recovery, activation and circuit training, duels 2 vs 2, and small-sided games.
