Palermo’s Eolo Jet wins Mediterranean GP, Lagalla awards the winner

On a windy day, the three-year-old horse Eolo Jet, guided by driver Federico Esposito and trained by Alessandro Gocciadoro, won the Gp Mediterraneo with a time of 1.12.2. Despite starting from the 7th position, Eolo Jet took the lead after 600 meters and resisted the attacks of Edelwise Men and Ector Francis to win the race. The race attracted a large audience, including Mayor Roberto Lagalla, who praised the event and expressed support for the renovation of the racecourse. The city has signed a convention in 2021 to transform the facility into a recreational, cultural, and dining venue and attract tourism. The fifth race was dedicated to the late driver Biagio Lo Verde, with Figo Step winning ahead of Fanpage Font and Favola del Ronco.
