Italian club Palermo has welcomed Scottish midfielder Liam Henderson, born in 1996. Henderson, who will wear the number 53 jersey, joins on loan with an option to buy, dependent on personal and team goals. The club, along with City Football Group and president Dario Mirri, extends a warm welcome to Henderson. The midfielder previously worked with Palermo’s coach, Eugenio Corini, two years ago at Lecce, where he played as an attacking midfielder. Henderson replaces Dario Saric in the Palermo squad, who was transferred to Antalyaspor. In addition to Celtic, Henderson has also played for Empoli, Bari, and Verona in Italy, accumulating over 100 appearances in B and nearly 70 in A.
