The Cassation has put an end to the waste tax in the blue zone. The Municipality of Palermo has lost its dispute with Apcoa, the Mantuan company that manages some paid parking areas in the city and which has opposed the Municipality's payment orders, also resorting to tax courts. The sentence concerns the Tarsu of 2011, for 437,605 euros. The calculation was made by the tax office for the occupation of the stalls in areas P2, P4, P19 and P20 (a form of compensation for the project financing with which the underground parking in front of the courthouse was created). The company, defended by the lawyer Alessandro Dagnino, challenged the assessment. Before the Tax Commissions, now the Cassation has canceled the provision.
