Palermo Soprintendenza rejects Politeama Square’s Ferris Wheel

The request to install a Ferris wheel in Piazza Castelnuovo in Palermo has been denied by the Soprintendenza, just like they did during the summer for other similar requests. The opinion of the Soprintendenza was not required for the previous installations in Mondello and via Emerico Amari, but this time it was necessary due to the historical and monumental significance of the location. The request was forwarded by the Municipality to the regional organization responsible for the protection of artistic heritage.
