They demand that Rai take responsibility for the mishandling of the sensitive topic and ensure that gender violence is treated with competence and ethics in the future. They call for a public apology and a commitment to proper journalistic and public service standards. This comes in light of the upcoming International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25th.
