A dog died today with its head stuck in the elevator doors of a building on via Gioacchino Di Marzo in Palermo. The puppy was with its owner, and while exiting the elevator, someone from a higher floor pressed the button, causing the doors to close and trapping the dog. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done, and the dog died instantly. The fire department intervened to unlock the elevator. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
