Palermo man stabbed by gang for reprimand

A man in Mondello, Palermo, reprimanded two boys who were bothering pedestrians. The young boys pretended to leave but returned with friends and attacked him, injuring him with a knife. Police and an ambulance arrived at the scene on Via Torre di Mondello, where the victim, a thirty-year-old, was found with injuries all over his body. The officers noticed a group of about 10 kids fleeing as soon as they saw the police sirens. They requested backup and attended to the injured man, whose face was swollen and bleeding. He was taken to Villa Sofia Hospital for treatment.
