The State Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Palermo who first helped an elderly woman who had fallen in the street and then robbed her after accompanying her home. It happened in Palermo near the Policlinico hospital. The man demanded money from the woman for helping her and bringing her home, and he snatched money and her cell phone from her hands. Inside the house with the elderly woman was her sister, who called for help from the balcony. Neighbors called the police, and as soon as the man came down to the street, he found the officers who arrested him on charges of robbery, extortion, and resisting a public official.
