Palermo lifts bathing ban at Sferracavallo: values are within the normal range

The ban on swimming in the sea of Sferracavallo in Palermo has been lifted. “The monitoring by the Arpa on June 24th recorded values below the legal limits for Ostreopsis (toxic algae) along the Sferracavallo coast – explains the municipal assessor for hygiene and health, Fabrizio Ferrandelli. As a result of the new findings, I have signed a new ordinance revoking the latest swimming ban.”
