Palermo, in the name of Biagio Conte: final touches to the Festino cart in the mission on Via Decollati

#Palermo
Preparations are underway for the 399th edition of the Santa Rosalia festival in Palermo. The float, which will parade through the city and end at the Foro Italico for the fireworks display, is being constructed by students from the Academy of Fine Arts and artisans from the Mission of Hope and Charity. The float, shaped like a moon and measuring about 8 meters long, will be transported to Corsa Vittorio Emanuele before the parade on the 14th. The finishing touches, such as coloring, installations, and draping, are currently being completed, along with the positioning of the statue of Saint Rosalia at the center of the float. This year, the float will pay tribute to two important figures in Palermo, Biagio Conte and Father Pino Puglisi.
