The police have identified and investigated a 23-year-old Palermo man, L.G.V., suspected of assaulting a steward at the Renzo Barbera stadium during last Sunday’s football match between Palermo and Brescia. An ultra, after entering the stadium, insisted on bringing in some friends without tickets. The steward refused and the fan punched him. The Digos, thanks to CCTV footage, has identified the attacker. The young man will have to answer for assault and violence against security personnel at sports events.
