Palermo educators and families learn alternative teaching: seven months of Zen training

The article describes a professional training program focused on education and new technologies, targeting teachers, educators, associations, and families. The project, called “CityZen – Being Community”, is a collaboration between “Laboratorio Zen Insieme” and two other local associations, aimed at promoting active public participation within the community. The training sessions, scheduled from October 2024 to April 2025, will focus on various thematic subgroups and will also include plenary sessions with national experts. Participants can choose from five thematic subgroups, such as alternative teaching methods, burnout prevention, inclusion of students with special educational needs, gender equality, and responsible use of social networks and digital devices. The training will be organized by the local associations mentioned earlier.
