In Palermo, the police have placed under investigation, in a state of freedom, a 24-year-old foreigner, H.M., accused of drug dealing. The young man was discovered thanks to a report received at the police station through the Youpol application, which indicated to the investigators a possible drug dealing activity in Piazza Sant’Anna, in the city’s historic center.
The officers went to check and found the young man, matching the description provided to the central office, talking to other people, who, as soon as they spotted the police car, quickly moved away. The twenty-four-year-old also tried to escape with a scooter, but was stopped by the police. In his wallet, 3 doses of hashish and one of marijuana were found, inside the scooter’s compartment, a 10 cm long blade of a cutter and two mobile phones. For one of the two, the young man did not provide explanations. The young man is accused of possession with intent to distribute a narcotic substance and receiving stolen goods.
