Palermo City Council: Pd accuses majority, mayor’s absence compromises quorum

In the Palermo City Council, the Democratic Party (Pd) strongly criticizes the majority supporting Mayor Roberto Lagalla’s administration. They express their disappointment at the absence of some members of the majority, which caused the lack of quorum during a Council meeting. The Pd councillors were unable to address important issues such as fire emergencies and waste problems to the mayor. They believe that political positions have become more important than the real issues affecting the city. They express their shame and warn the mayor not to be left alone howling at the moon.
