Palermo, assets worth 6 million seized from boss and henchmen in the Santa Rosalia Village clan. Names revealed.

The financial police of the provincial command of Palermo executed a seizure of assets decree for 6 million euros issued by the judge Claudio Bencivinni, at the request of the prosecutor, against 8 people accused of belonging to the mafia family of Villaggio Santa Rosalia. They are investigated for drug trafficking and fraudulent transfer of values aggravated by mafia purposes. The measures were issued against several individuals and the investigation is being conducted by the economic and financial police of Palermo. The investigation revealed the control and influence of the mafia family over the economic fabric of the territory. They were involved in various activities such as selling bread, flower supply, managing real estate, construction, and even resolving disputes among private parties. The seized assets include 13 properties, 7 businesses, and 6 vehicles totaling over 6 million euros. This operation is part of a larger investigation named “Villaggio di famiglia” which resulted in the execution of 33 precautionary measures and the suspension of the citizens’ income benefit for 20 individuals involved.
