Palermo anti-mafia raid, 250 euro discount on lunch imposed by pizzo collector

The recent investigation conducted by the Palermo mobile squad and the investigative section of the SCO has led to the arrest of several members of the Resuttana clan. The suspects were involved in several criminal activities including extortion and racketeering. Some of the instances of extortion included a demand to lower a restaurant bill after the suspect had dined with his son. Additionally, the suspects were involved in demanding bribes from construction companies, as well as being associated with organized crime and threatening business owners who failed to comply with their demands. These suspects, along with others, have been placed in custody.
