Owner of unlicensed betting room in Caltanissetta reported

The agents of the administrative police division of the police headquarters, during the checks carried out in the gaming rooms of Caltanissetta, reported the owner and manager of a betting shop without a license from the questore as it lacked authorization from Monopoli. The checks were carried out together with the municipal police and the staff of the territorial labor inspectorate and the Agency of customs and monopolies. During the checks, several irregularities were found and administrative fines were issued for several hundred euros. In fact, the following violations were contested: the opening of the betting center at a distance of less than 500 meters from sensitive locations; failure to display the opening and closing hours to the public; lack of fire extinguishers and certification of the suitability of the electrical system; failure to communicate the owner’s personal data to the questore; allowing betting by minors under the age of 18, and others.
