Ortigia Siracusa closed the preliminary round of the Champions League water polo tournament with a 16-14 victory over Primorje. This win secured their participation in the Euro Cup as a seeded team. The Greek team Vouliagmeni also advanced to the next round with three victories, while Ortigia had two out of three.
