One month of music showcase at the Zisa cultural venues in Palermo

Three years after his passing, Solo Per Lelio returns, the event organized by the wife of the double bass player, Valeria Cuffaro, and their two sons, Luca and Gabriele, to honor the memory of Lelio Giannetto, who passed away on December 19, 2020 due to Covid. The event, which runs from November 19th to December 19th, consists of nine concerts plus a preview, at the Perriera hall of the Zisa – Officine Ducrot cultural center in Palermo. The lineup includes performances by various artists and ensembles, such as Siamo Sextet, AM/FM, and MaMaSi Trio. The event also features unique projects, including “Multiple Writings” by composers Philippe Festou, Benedetto Basile, and Luigi Esposito, and a performance by the SIO and the French ensemble Yin. The concerts will be accompanied by a series of workshops. The event will conclude with a concert by the Sicilian Improvisers Orchestra directed by Elio Martusciello.
