Noto, the scooter theft and violence: three young people beaten up

Three young people, including minors, were attacked in Calabernardo, a beach town in Noto, in the province of Siracusa. Kicks and punches near the beach during a brawl between two groups: the victims were targeted by some young men between the ages of twenty and twenty-five. When the alarm was raised, the police arrived, but the attackers had already fled. The three injured young people were taken to the hospital. According to an initial reconstruction, the violence erupted after one of the minors had his motorbike stolen. His friends tried to defend him, but the argument escalated. The investigations are still ongoing, but now there is alarm for the increase in attacks in the Siracusa area.

In fact, the incident in Noto is the third case of violence in a few days. Last week, a North African boy was viciously beaten in Cassibile and is in critical condition in the hospital. Three men, aged 59, 22, and 25, have been arrested and charged with attempted aggravated murder. The first two have been taken to prison, while the twenty-five year old has been placed under house arrest. A fourth man, aged 57, has been reported. Another worrying incident occurred in Carlentini, where a man was repeatedly hit with a helmet after reprimanding some young people for making noise.
