The fire initially affected the municipality of Militello Rosmarino, leading to the evacuation of 5 individuals from 3 different families. The fire front required the use of aerial means and spread to Sant’Agata di Militello, where the situation was described as apocalyptic. Several firefighting teams were present. Last night, the highway section between Rocca di Capri Leone and Sant’Agata di Militello was closed, as well as the state road 113 between Torrenova and Sant’Agata di Militello in both directions.
