New priests, Domenico Greco and Mario Isgrò, have been appointed to serve in the parishes of Stromboli, Ginostra, and Panarea, in the volcanic island of the Aeolian islands. They were welcomed by the locals and celebrated their first mass. The arrival of the new priests has brought hope to the community, especially after the previous priest, Don Giovanni Longo, was transferred. The news of the appointments came after a petition with over 300 signatures was sent to Archbishop Giovanni Accolla by the islanders.
