A new hypermarket opens in Palermo. And it will be a new center with the Lidl brand that will be inaugurated very soon. The structure, which covers an area of almost six thousand square meters with parking for forty vehicles, is about to be defined.
The new store is located at the intersection of the street Sicilian Region and the Via Perpignano, in a partially built-up area that has been abandoned for years, right next to Media World. More than the local consumer, already served by Eurospin, the German chain aims at the customer passing through the ring road.
Lidl is already present with seven supermarkets in the city and with the future point of sale it will be the most present brand on the axis of the ring road. The German brand that belongs to the Schwarz Gruppe in fact, it has an articulated structure with a sales point at the entrance to the city from the south-east, at the height of via Altofonte, another halfway between via Paternò and Paisiello, where Salamone & Pullara was, and another at north-west, in via Ugo La Malfa.
