New Director Arrives at Palermo’s Ufficio Monopoli: Enrico Guarna from Rome

The new executive, Enrico Guarna, who won the latest competition at the Agency of Customs and Monopolies, has taken office at the Office of Monopolies in Palermo within Adm-Sicilia-Direzione Territoriale VII. He comes from the management of the Customs Office in Rome 2 and succeeds the interim management of Ivan Santi Spina. At the Office of Monopolies in Palermo, the new executive is set to oversee various activities in the sectors of gaming and tobacco, with the personnel of the head office, six territorial operating offices in Agrigento, Catania, Caltanissetta, Messina, Siracusa, and Trapani, and the two detached sections in Enna and Ragusa. The Palermo Office of Monopolies carries out prevention and repression activities both on its own initiative and under the delegation of the judicial authorities, through its personnel who have judicial and tax police powers, and in collaboration with all law enforcement forces.
