Municipalities: Palermo, Orlando appoints two new councilors – Sicily

(ANSA) – PALERMO, APRIL 26 – Toni Sala, engineer and city councilor, and Cettina Martorana, accountant, are the two new councilors that the mayor of Palermo Leoluca Orlando has appointed to replace the resigning Toni Costumati and Leopoldo Piampiano of Italia Viva , following the political break with the mayor. The two new councilors were presented in the afternoon in an online press videoconference from Palazzo delle Aquile, also in the presence of the deputy mayor Fabio Giambrone and in connection with the other councilors.

Sala, municipal councilor of the Avanti together group, elected with 1,163 votes on the Palermo 2022 list, will deal with Heritage, Cemetery services, Confiscated assets, Cemeteries, Public hygiene and Animal rights. Martorana, councilor of the Order of Accountants and president of the Sispi board of statutory auditors, on the other hand, has been given the delegation of the productive activities. (HANDLE).
