Multiple thefts in the area of Via Roma, Palermo: car window broken seven times

Several drivers reported thefts from their cars at the police station on Via Roma in Palermo. One of them had his window broken seven times on Parrocchia dei Tartari Street. Last night, in the same area, the window of a car belonging to a French tourist couple was broken, and a few items, including the car registration, were stolen. The B&B where they are staying issued a social media appeal to find the stolen items. Two burglaries also occurred at the T’up Burger on Via Roma, all caught on camera. The first break-in involved an attempted forced entry, while the second resulted in a smashed storefront and a small amount of cash stolen. The owners are concerned about the repeated incidents and the fact that neighboring businesses have also been targeted.
