The street where the little Carmelo and Laura Mulone grew up will bear their name. It was inaugurated today, on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the massacre of the Maccalube, when the explosion of a volcano overwhelmed them and killed them, while they were taking a walk with their father Rosario, a carabiniere appreciated by all colleagues and not only.

The Arma and the Municipality of Aragona wanted to show their closeness to the family in this way. The ceremony was attended by various civil and military authorities who remembered the two very young victims. “The weapon has always been our home – said Giovanna Lucchese, mother of the brothers – and she showed us her closeness for what happened at all times. We are all victims of that episode”.
