Parents in tears were supported by classmates and teachers at the funeral of the thirteen-year-old boy who died by suicide in Palermo, reportedly a victim of bullying. The funeral took place this morning at the Rotoli cemetery, attended by students, friends, and relatives who tried to comfort the devastated parents. “He is an angel to me,” said the priest during the homily. Meanwhile, the carabinieri continue their investigation to reconstruct what led the boy to take his own life at his parents’ house last Saturday. Two investigations have been opened, one by the ordinary prosecutor and one by the prosecutor for minors. The hypothesis of the crime being instigation to suicide by unknown perpetrators.
