Motorcycle accident in Sant’Angelo di Brolo: 50-year-old in critical condition

Another road accident occurred in the province of Messina. In Sant’Angelo di Brolo, a 50-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle for reasons that are still under investigation. He veered off the road and fell down a ravine in the Santo Pietro area. A driver who was right behind him witnessed the scene, immediately stopped, and alerted the emergency services. An ambulance from the 118 emergency medical service and the carabinieri arrived at the scene. The man’s condition was immediately deemed serious, and after rescuing him from the vegetation, the doctors provided initial treatment and transported him to Barone Romeo Hospital in Patti. Due to the severity of his injuries, the 50-year-old was later transferred by helicopter to Papardo Hospital in Messina, where he remains in critical condition. The carabinieri conducted investigations to determine the exact circumstances of the accident and interviewed witnesses. In another incident in Furci, also in the province of Messina, a 42-year-old man riding a scooter had a serious accident at the south entrance of the town on State Road 114, sustaining deep injuries. Emergency services, including two ambulances from the 118 service and a helicopter, quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured man to Messina Polyclinic with multiple injuries.
